Tour Highlights:
We will start our tour at the Eminonu Square. This circus was once an Ottoman Customs Office handling the imported goods. Then we walk across the Galata Bridge enjoying the panorama of old Stamboul and the Bosphorus Bridge. Next, we visit the nearby Arab Mosque which is literally the first Muslim shrine of the city. Afterwards, we will visit the Jewish Museum to learn about the Jewish heritage in Turkey. Now will be time for riding our public ferry accross the Bosphorus strait. The picturesque boat ride will be a great oppurtunity for the photo enthusiasts. Disembarking our ferry we will have officially stepped upon a new continent: Asia! The name of this leading district is Kadıkoy that was constantly settled since the frontier Phoenician sea traders named it Chalcedon, the land of the blinds in the 7th centruy BC. Kadıkoy boast great fish reastaurants and a robust market area where we will eargly roam around. Next, we will meet with our van continue up the hill to the highest spot of the city Camlica Hill to admire the most fantastic views of the biggest metropolis in Europe. We will take the 1973 gravity anchored suspension bridge of Bosphorus on the way back. One should not miss the famous historic district Ortakoy upon Boshorus situated on the European foot of the bridge, so shall we.
